Nancy Enderle Named as Covenant Network’s Interim Executive Director

The Rev. Nancy Hutchison Enderle has been named Interim Executive Director of the Covenant Network of Presbyterians.  She will begin her service in June, following the retirement of Founding Executive Director Pam Byers.A minister member of John Knox Presbytery, Rev. Enderle has chaired that presbytery’s Committee on Preparation for Ministry, in which capacity she defended the presbytery’s decision to ordain Scott Anderson in testimony before the Synod of Lakes & Prairies PJC.  A McCormick Seminary graduate, she currently serves as Vice Chair of McCormick’s Board of Trustees and is also a member of the Board of Directors of PresHouse Campus Ministry in Madison, WI.  She is actively involved in the life of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Madison.  Earlier she served as Associate Pastor at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago and at Hitchcock Presbyterian Church in Scarsdale, NY.“Nancy brings a wide-ranging knowledge and a deep commitment to our vision for the church,” said Covenant Network Co-Moderator David Van Dyke, pastor of House of Hope Presbyterian Church in St. Paul, MN.  “We look forward to working with her as our board envisions the next stage of Covenant Network’s service to the PC(USA),” added Co-Moderator Mary Lynn Tobin, pastor of Davis [CA] Community Church.
