Pronoun Pins and New Resources for Welcoming Churches

Continuing to celebrate Pride Month, we have provided a new resource on our Becoming a Welcoming Church Page: Why Pronoun Pins? This downloadable brochure, printable on half sheets, introduces pronoun pins as a way to embody Christ’s love and warmly welcome all people.Check out our other Resources for additional worship materials, curriculum, essays, articles, videos and outside sources that support congregations, church leaders and LGBTQIA+ people. We also recently published A Practical Guide for Churches at Pride. If you have ideas for future resources that you or your church would like to see, just reach out to Communications Coordinator Amy Cerniglia at amy@covnetpres.org.

By sharing our own pronouns, much like introducing ourselves with our own names, we welcome others to share their own. This small gesture communicates a powerful message: we see you, accept you, and honor your identity as a child of God.
